1. What we don't collect

BuildResumeOnline requires no login and stores nothing on our servers. When you type your name, experience, photo, or upload an old resume to edit:

• It is processed locally in your browser (including PDF/DOCX generation and resume parsing).
• It is autosaved to your device's localStorage only, so you can resume later on the same browser.
• It is never sent to our servers, never sold, and never shared with advertisers.

2. What stays on your device

• Resume content (contact details, experience, education, skills, photo).
• Builder preferences (template choice, theme preference).

Clearing your browser's site data permanently deletes these. We cannot recover them — we never had a copy.

3. What we may receive automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical data needed to serve pages: e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. These logs are used for security and reliability, not for profiling you, and we don't combine them with resume content (which we don't have).

4. Cookies & tracking

We don't set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Local storage keys above are functional only. If we ever add analytics, we'll disclose it here first.

5. Third-party services

• Fonts: pages load the Inter font from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP and user-agent per Google's policies.
• Email: if you contact us at support@buildresumeonline.com, we receive whatever you send so we can reply. Don't send sensitive documents unless asked.

6. Children

BuildResumeOnline is a general-purpose tool, not directed at children under 13. Don't enter a child's personal data.

7. Your rights & deletion

Because resume data lives only on your device, you can delete it anytime by clearing site data. For questions or requests about any data we might hold (e.g. an email you sent us), contact support@buildresumeonline.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
